Cut a Rock Power

Checked

Power is the stat the anvils train and the doors test. In the shop it shows up in four different places, and only two of them are really Power upgrades: the anvil passes, and the permanent AFK boost. The rest are conversions of Robux into a number that resets the moment you spend it on progress.

Where Power actually comes from

Four sources, verifiable from the shop text:

Source Price What it does
Anvil passes 199, 299, 399, 499 R$ Unlock an anvil with a 25x, 50x, 100x or 200x training multiplier, based on your equipped pickaxe
2x AFK Speed (Permanent) 79 R$ Doubles Power earned in AFK areas, including anvils and AFK rocks
Power Packs 1 to 5 39, 69, 89, 129, 225 R$ Instant Power equal to 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 times your current shop reward amount
Double Your Power 39 R$ Doubles your current Power once, and is explicitly not permanent

The shop also sells a permanent 2x Power boost at 79 R$, but read its description carefully before you count it as income.

The two that look like Power but are not

The permanent 2x Power boost doubles your damage to mine doors. Its description says plainly that it does not double the Power number on your HUD. That makes it a door-breaking upgrade: it turns the same Power into faster door progress, which is worth having, but it will not change what an anvil session produces.

Double Your Power at 39 R$ doubles your current Power exactly once. On a large number that is a big jump, and on a small one it is 39 Robux for a rounding error. Neither of these two is a multiplier on future training.

The packs scale with you

Power Packs do not carry a fixed amount. The description says each pack grants N times your current shop reward amount, and that the amount scales with your progress, so the same 225-Robux pack is worth far more later than it is in your first hour. The game also warns you to check the exact amount in the in-game shop before buying, which is the only place the number exists.

That design makes packs a way to convert Robux into progress right now, at a rate that improves as you improve. If you want a permanent effect, the anvil passes and the AFK boost are the two that keep working.

Offline Power

The official description says you gain Power offline and your machines keep cutting while you are away. It does not publish a rate or a cap. In the guide video the HUD showed an offline earnings line reading 72K per hour on one developed account, which is a single observation, not a rate you can plan around.

What we could not verify: whether an uncollected stone blocks offline progress, and whether offline Power accrues at the same rate as training at an anvil. Neither is published, and the footage we checked does not settle it.

The order we would buy in

Anvil pass first if you already leave the game running, because it multiplies a session you are already doing. The 79 AFK boost second, because it doubles that same session for a fifth of the price. Packs last, and only when you want a specific door open today rather than a permanent change.

The anvil details are on the anvil page, the full paid list is on game passes, and the Index gate that blocks the 200x anvil is on Index rewards.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Power used for?

Mining doors. The 2x Power boost is described as doubling damage to mine doors, which is how a bigger Power number turns into faster progress.

Does Double Your Power at 39 Robux last?

No. The description says each purchase doubles your current Power once and is not a permanent multiplier.

How much Power does a pack give?

It scales with your progress. The packs grant 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 times your current shop reward amount, and the amount itself is only visible in the in-game shop.

Can you earn Power while offline?

The official description says you gain Power offline and your machines keep cutting. No rate is published.
