Four budget tiers and what to buy
How you spend depends strictly on your available Robux. We break down the shop into four spending brackets:
Under 100 Robux
The single best low-budget option is Starter Pack 19 for 19 Robux, or saving directly until you reach 79 Robux for 2x Machine Speed (Permanent). Starter Pack 19 provides an immediate currency cushion to unlock early ground passages without grinding initial stone cuts. 2x Sell costs 3 Robux, but it is a short-term consumable. If you have 79 Robux, buy 2x Machine Speed (Permanent) before any other single boost. Cutting machines process every rock from the mining rooms, so halving cut duration accelerates cash generation and Index discovery.
100 to 300 Robux
Buy the Ultimate Boost Bundle (Permanent) for 249 Robux. This bundle contains 2x Money (Permanent), 2x Machine Speed (Permanent), 2x AFK Speed (Permanent), and 2x Power (Permanent). It also includes a permanent extra Sight level to narrow down possible rock contents and space for one additional rock in your bag. Purchasing the four individual 79 Robux boosts separately costs 316 Robux. Buying the bundle saves 67 Robux while adding the bag slot and Sight bonus.
300 to 800 Robux
Combine the Ultimate Boost Bundle (Permanent) at 249 Robux with either the 25x Anvil pass at 199 Robux (448 Robux total) or the 50x Anvil pass at 299 Robux (548 Robux total). These anvil passes allow training in the AFK area with high training multipliers while bypassing the normal Index requirement for that anvil. You can review the complete pass breakdown on the gamepasses page.
Above 1000 Robux
Buy the Ultimate Boost Bundle (Permanent) at 249 Robux, the 200x Anvil pass at 499 Robux, and the 100x Anvil pass at 399 Robux (1147 Robux total). Owning all four anvil passes costs 1396 Robux. If you want to check which combination matches your exact wallet balance, run your balance through the Robux budget planner before making purchases in the Roblox store.
Why the bundle math depends on what you already own
The Ultimate Boost Bundle (Permanent) at 249 Robux is discounted against the 316 Robux sum of four separate 79 Robux purchases. The shop panel in the beginner video showed the original 319 Robux price crossed out with 249 Robux active. However, the store does not discount the bundle if you already purchased individual boosts.
| Item | Individual Price | Bundle Price | Bundle Savings |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2x Money (Permanent) | 79 Robux | Included | Part of 249 Robux bundle |
| 2x Machine Speed (Permanent) | 79 Robux | Included | Part of 249 Robux bundle |
| 2x AFK Speed (Permanent) | 79 Robux | Included | Part of 249 Robux bundle |
| 2x Power (Permanent) | 79 Robux | Included | Part of 249 Robux bundle |
| +1 Bag Slot and Sight Bonus | Not sold separately | Included | Bonus value |
| Total (all four individual) | 316 Robux | 249 Robux | 67 Robux saved |
If you own zero boosts, the bundle is the clear choice. If you already bought one 79 Robux boost, purchasing the remaining three separately costs 237 Robux (3 x 79). In that case, the bundle costs 12 Robux more than three individual boosts, so you are paying 12 Robux for the +1 bag slot and Sight level upgrade. If you already own two or more 79 Robux boosts, buying the remaining boosts individually is cheaper than the bundle.
Anvil passes versus shop pickaxes
Cut a Rock sells 41 pickaxes in the developer product store, starting at Copper Pickaxe for 70 Robux and reaching Infinity Reign Pickaxe for 10720 Robux. You can inspect all 41 prices on the pickaxes reference page.
Our read is that anvil passes are a superior purchase to mid-tier shop pickaxes. Anvil passes provide a permanent training multiplier (25x, 50x, 100x, or 200x) that scales whatever pickaxe you currently equip. Buying an anvil pass allows you to bypass the Index collection gate. Pickaxes can be bought with in-game Money through standard progression, whereas anvil passes require Robux.
Developer products and bundles you should skip
The store contains several recurring purchase categories that offer poor value compared to permanent upgrades:
- Limited stone crates: Nova Prism bundles cost 49 to 449 Robux (1x to 10x). Genesis Monolith costs 79 to 679 Robux. Royal Relic costs 119 to 1029 Robux. Sun Scarab costs 149 to 1299 Robux. The official listing marks these stones as probabilistic content. Buying them consumes Robux on items that disappear once cut, providing no lasting boost to your account.
- Money packs and Power packs: Money Pack 1 through 5 cost 39, 69, 89, 129, and 225 Robux. Power Pack 1 through 5 carry the exact same price ladder (39, 69, 89, 129, and 225 Robux). In-game cash and Power are generated continuously through cutting and anvil training. Spending Robux on static currency amounts speeds up a single minute of play without changing your underlying income rate.
- Finish Now tiers: The store offers 60 tiers of Finish Now, from Tier 01 at 5 Robux up to Tier 60 at 300 Robux in 5-Robux increments. These purchase buttons simply clear the remaining countdown on an active machine cut. With 2x Machine Speed (Permanent) available for 79 Robux, paying repeated fees to clear individual timers is wasteful.
- Instant Floor Break: The store lists 30 tiers of Instant Floor Break, from 10 Robux up to 300 Robux in 10-Robux steps. These products bypass the Power door on your current floor. You can break floors naturally once your anvil training accumulates enough Power.
Spend your budget on permanent speed and anvil access before touching consumable items.
